Create some room for alternative viewpoints

According to a recent article in The New York Sun, you are less and less likely to find room for alternative viewpoints in America’s public schools. Aspiring teachers are now being evaluated not only unofficially and informally according to their political beliefs; such evaluation standards have been formally adopted into the accreditation standards of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. As a result, will homeschoolers provide the last opportunity for students to learn truly diverse viewpoints?
